エイブラムズ教授招聘記 Professor Abrams's first visit to Japan 柿本, 敏克 安藤, 香織 Prof Abrams visit to Japan three seminars application/pdf The article gave a sequential account of the first visit of Professor Dominic Abrams, Ph. D., Department of Psychology, University of Kent at Canterbury, England, to Japan during the 7-day period between January 31 and February 6, 2001. The visit was financially supported by the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B) (2) for the project titled ""A Comparative Study on the Contexualism and Social Identity"" (Project number. 10044041) (Head investigator: Toshikatsu Kakimoto). All the circumstances before and after three seminars delivered at Maebashi, Tokyo, and Osaka, as well as a meeting at Kyoto were reported. Especially, discussions on cultural differences between Japan and UK at the reception after the Osaka seminar were fully reproduced.
