VO_2 max might prove usuful or not evaluation aerobic working capacity of twenty-nine hemiplegic patients. The result were as follow: 1) A positive significant correlation was observed between the AT and the VO_2 peak, in both in the hemiplegics (r=0.96, <0.001) and in healthys (r=0.77, p<0.001) 2) A positive significant correlation was observed between the AT and the Pred. VO_2 max, in both in the hemiplegics (r=0.74, p<0.01) and in healthys (r=0.77, p<0.01) These results suggest that the value of VO_2 peak and Pred. VO_2 max are suitable for evaluation of aerobic working capacity in hemiplegics.
