| 内容記述 | This study evaluates the relative efficiencies of Japan Railway companies and Japan's major\nprivate railway companies, using various types of DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis). The first\nstep of the evaluation focused on the time series perfoumance data analysis of the Japan Railway\ncompanies. The second step of the evaluation focused on the relative efficiencies of Japan\nRailway companies using the DEA/Window Analysis (Data Envelopment AnalysisfXVindow\nAnalysis). The third step of the evaluation focused on the relative inefficiencies of Japan\nRailway companies using the Inverted DEA/Window Analysis (Inverted Data Envelopment\nAnalysis/Window Analysis)as a variation of Inverted DEA(Inverted Data Envelopment Analy-\nsis). As the fourth step of the evaluation, this paper evaluates the relative efficiencies and\ninefficiencies of Japan's major private railway companies in eastern Japan using the DEA/\nWindow Analysis and the Inverted DEA/Window Analysis. In this paper, trends of the relative\nefficiencies and inefficiencies of each Japan's major private railway company in eastem Japan became clear by comparing with each Japan Railway company. | |||||||
