| 内容記述 | How head movement affects associated reactions in the biceps and triceps of the resting upper extremity while a submaximal isometric resisted contraction of the biceps brachii in the opposite limb of a normal adult was studied using Integrated EMG's. The relationship between head movement and associated reactions of the resting side and the active limb in this study showed a discrepancy with both Brunnstrom's and Michels' theories. That the combination of neck motion and heterolateral resting elbow extensors and flexors was confirmed. Maximum associated reactions reached 18% of the control contraction in the triceps in which associated reactions appeared more strongly than in the biceps. Factors of frontal axis motion of the head (A) and interaction of the frontal axis and longitudinal axis motions of the head (A×B) were significantly strong factors for influencing associated reactions in the biceps. Factors for frontal axis motion of the head (A), longitudinal motion of the head (B), and interaction of both (A×B) were significantly strong factors for associated reactions in the triceps. | |||||||
