| 内容記述 | Four types of hypotheses on cerebral laterality in schizophrenia were examined using two series of visual cognitive tests. The results of the letter-shape composite stimuli tests were quite inconsistent with the the left hemisphere overactivation hypothesis. Concerning the hypotheses of left hemisphere dysfunction and interhemispheric disconnection, the results of divided visual field tests were only in part positive but on the whole negative. So far the diffuse brain organization hypothesis can explain the present results of the both series of experiments the most inclusively. The diffuse brain organization hypothesis should deserve more attention in the research in schizophrenia. | |||||
