| 内容記述 | Blood pressure was determined by doctors and nurses in 122 essential hypertensive patients, personality in these patients was assessed using the Yatade Guilford personality inventory. When the patients were divided into two groups consisting of a group in which blood pressure readings determined by doctors were obviously higher than those by nurses and a group in which readings by doctors were the same as those by nurses, personality differences were noted. The scores for depression, inferiority feelings, lack of objectivity and lack of cooperativeness were significantly higher in the former group. These results suggest that the hypertensive patients showing marked increase in blood pressure during the doctor's examination have specific personality types. We need to vary care strategies for patients according to the their individual personality types. | |||||
