| 内容記述 | We have made a survey of differences in pain observation between Japanese nurses and American nurses according to published literature. We also looked at influence of nurses' career on their ability of pain observation. As the result of this survey, we have made the following conclusions. 1. There were certain differences between Japanese nurses and American nurses on the identification of pain location, the assessment of pain and the understanding of pain. 2. The responsibility for pain control is laid on doctors and nurses in Japan, while it is laid on patients as well as doctors and nurses in America. 3. As for the relevance of Nurses' experience to their ability of pain observation, the nurses with more than ten years of experience have more appropriate pain observation ability than the nurses with less than ten years of experience. | |||||
