| 内容記述 | For the purpose of collecting basic data necessary for the improvement of sumo game, the following tests were conducted on five National Athletic Meet-level high school sumo players; 1) a test of general physical fitness, 2) a test of isokinetic muscle strength, 3) exercise load test, 4) biochemical examination, 5) a test of movement of the center of gravity. Results: General physical fitness was relatively superior. However, the score was low in the tests of litheness and nimbleness, and especially in a test of balance, the score was remarkably low. %BW and %VO_2 (oxygen uptake) in both the test of isokinetic muscle strength and exercise load test were low. Most of the results of biochemical examination were within the scope of standard score. | |||||
