| 内容記述 | To elucidate the mechanism of antibody production against spontaneous antigen stimulation in humans, we measured Japanese ceder pollen (JCP) specific IgE antibody and IgG4 antibody in young atopic population. 1. Percentages of the subjects positive for IgE and IgG4 were 66.7% and 35.4%, respectively. Percentage of the subjects with both antibidies was 29.2%, and that of subjects with only IgE or only IgG4 was 37.5% and 6.3%, respectively. 2. The highest IgE antibody titer was observed during measurement in May; thereafter the IgE level decreased gradually. Similar seasonal changes were observed in IgG4 production, although the IgG4 level decreased rapidly to the normal level by the following January. 3. Subjects with JCP-allergic symptoms had higher IgE titers than those without symptoms. 4. A significant correlation was found between IgE and IgG4 antibody levels in individual subjects; the correlation cofficient was 0.762. | |||||
