To assess the present situation of public health nurse education, the content to the education program concerning maternal child health guidance were investigated. Questionnaires consising of 57 items were circulated to teachers, graduates of the school and public health nurse. Results obtained were as follows: There are (a) items regarded as necessary by all the answerers, and (b) items regarded as necessary by some of the answeres 2. Two kinds of subjects are needed in the education program; basic subjects to be facilitated before graduation, and applicable subjects to be studied successively after graduation. 3. Most of the answerers have an opinion that more practical training is needed in the education program because there is a growing tendency to have less childcare experience nowadays. |
