| 内容記述 | We surveyed the recognition and illness behavior of mothers who have six to twelve-month-old infants, altogether with parenting anxiety scores. The 216 subjects from Maebashi city and the 98 subjects of seven villages in Gunma prefecture volunteered to the questionnaire. We discussed the characteristics and differences of behaviors in urban and rural residents. The following conclusions were drawn: 1) The higher ratio of urban subjects knew their infants' normal body temperature and had experienced high fever of their infants. More subjects, who once experienced high fever of their infants, answered to visit doctors as soon as they found out about fever than other groups did. 2) The urban subjects had less children and higher scores of parenting anxiety than rural subjects did. Among rural subjects, mothers who have only one child had higher scores of parenting anxiety than they do more than couple of children. 3) The rural subjects had less access to clinics or hospitals than the urbans. The higher ratio of rural subjects answered to use antipyretics than the urbanites. | |||||
