| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to examine the physical acitvity, the walking capacity and to evaluate the relationship among these factors in hemodyalisis (HD) patients. We measured the daily walking steps per day for six consecutive days, 6 minutes walking distance (6MD) and physiological cost index(PCI) in 53 subjects. These subjects were treated with HD for three days a week. The mean of walking steps for six days was 5620 steps. Then, the mean walking steps at treatment days were less than at non-treatment days. This suggested that treatment with HD affected the physical activity of HD patients. The mean value of 6MD was 473.3 ± 63.9m (mean ± standard deviation), and PCI was 0.46 ± 0.18. 6MD was significantly correlated with age (r=-0.48,p<0.001). And, PCI was statistically associated with walking steps (r=-0.27, p<0.05). The relationship between duration of HD and walking capacity was not statistical significance. These results suggestsed that to keep physical activity in HD patients has the potential for maintaining the walking capacity. | |||||
