We qestionnaired to all students in the first year of College of Medical Care and Technology, Gunma University why they chose their own profession as a career. Results generally showed that main factors of students' selection of their own career were following. The career would allow for advancement. Helping people is personally enjoyable. The job can always be found. Knowing more about the human body is desirable. Patients expressing gratitude for what is done for them. Two additional factors especially for occupational therapy students were following. The career offers more variety than just patient care. The job that is not routine is desirable. Those factors of the other department' students are discussed detailedly in this article. |
