| 内容記述 | To access the variation of consciousness level, skin potential (SP) were recorded in eight inpatients admitted to intensive care unit (ICU). Continuous SP recordings for 8-14 hours were made intermittently up to three times during stay. Recovery of consciousness from anesthesia was reflected by elevation of basal SP level. There were gradual disorganization of sleep/awake pattern accompanied by intermediate SP basal level. In 3 patients, delirious state were found with 30-60 min. cyclic SP fluctuations, suggesting clinically well known variation of consciousness level in delirious state. These course of SP variation seem to reflect the progressive arousal change in ICU syndrome. | |||||
