For improving productivity, it is required to save the labor input or increase the added value, however, there are not considerations in previous discussions on this point. In tourist destination, the ryokan business play an important role, this paper emphasizes the importance of little by little innovation and management's stance on it. And this paper suggests that building competitiveness of the ryokan business by improving productivity and securing human resources is a successful way to improve the competitiveness of tourist destination.},
