In this paper, we conducted an original survey based on publicly available information on national universities that actively assign "Information Study I " to the "Common Test for University Entrance," and presented descriptive statistics. We then used discriminant analysis to clarify what factors are related to whether national universities actively assign "Information Study I" to the "Common Test for University Entrance." Specifically, we found that universities in prefectures with a population of 1.6 million or more and that are comprehensive universities actively assign "Information Study I." |
