Gunma prefecture is famous for a strong wind in winter. For this reason, this study examined how a\nnatural feature influence clothes by seeing fixed point observation images which were recorded with video\ncamera. The images were recorded from 8:10 to 8:40 in a morning. Also, the period of this recording was from\nDecember 12th in 2013 to January 22nd in 2014. The number of people who were analyzed is 745 males and\n597 females. The total is 1,342 people. The air temperature and Wind Chill Index (hereafter WCI)is effective\nin order to assess the relationship between a natural feature and the rate of clothes worn by the people. As a\nresult, females usually put on a coat regardless of the air temperature. Males were likely to put on a coat\ndepending on the lowest air temperature. In addition, when a strong wind blew, females fastened the buttons\non their coat and stooped. In case of males, the lower temperature became, the more males were likely to put\non down coats. As we can see, there were differences between males and females. Also, females were more\nlikely to put a mask on their mouth regardless of weather. |
