| 内容記述 | It is almost decided that holding company, which has been prohibited during more than fifty years after the war, will be allowed after 1998. Introduction of holding company system have various effects on management of the firm, and in this paper we are concerned with effects on corporate venture. Until now Japanese policy on promotion of new business has aimed at improvement of infrastructure and system in order that an individual who has the entrepreneurial spirit can easily start up business. It goes without saying that its model is in America, the advanced nation of new venture. But there is a great defference between Japanese and American circumstances in case of starting business, therefore it is questionable if such policy could accomplish its purpose. In Japan, most realistic is promotion of new business which make use of managerial resoursc and power of the big firms, which still have strong influence on economic activities, thay is to say, promotion through corporate venture. In this paper, we will begin by considering why Japanese economy needs to activate corporate venture. Then we will explain how introduction of the holding company system leads corporate venture to success. | |||||
