The pacifism (Article 9 of the Constitution) is no longer able to protect the country, and public opinion calling for its revision has become significantly stronger than before. Then, is it true that pacifism is powerless against this invasion, and that pacifism cannot deal with it? I do not believe that the current Ukrainian war has exposed the limits of pacifism and that it needs to be corrected. If Japan had practiced pacifism, it would have been possible to prevent the invasion, and in order to solve the problem, it is believed that what is needed is the realization and strengthening of pacifism.
