| 内容記述 | 英国のケント大学教授ドミニク・エイブラムズ博士を学術振興会の科学研究費補助金(基盤研究(B)(2)、課題番号10044041「『社会的アイデンティティ』と『間人』の相関についての日英比較」[研究代表者:柿本敏克])により、2001年1月31日から同年2月6日までの6泊7日の日程で招聘した際の顛末が、時系列的に記述された。前橋と東京、大阪で開催された3つの講演会および京都での1つの対談の前後の様子が詳述された。特に、大阪講演会後の懇親会での日英の文化的差異に関する議論は詳細に再現された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The article gave a sequential account of the first visit of Professor Dominic Abrams, Ph. D., Department of Psychology, University of Kent at Canterbury, England, to Japan during the 7-day period between January 31 and February 6, 2001. The visit was financially supported by the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B) (2) for the project titled ""A Comparative Study on the Contexualism and Social Identity"" (Project number. 10044041) (Head investigator: Toshikatsu Kakimoto). All the circumstances before and after three seminars delivered at Maebashi, Tokyo, and Osaka, as well as a meeting at Kyoto were reported. Especially, discussions on cultural differences between Japan and UK at the reception after the Osaka seminar were fully reproduced. | |||||
