内容記述 National Housing Authority has been carried out Baan Eua-Arthorn projects (BEA), which build\nstandardiqed housing for low-income families since 2003. NHA has completed 309 projects that encompasses\n272,256 units in 2013. Bang Chalong housing estate in Samut Prakan is constructed at the first stage of BEA\nprojects and it is the largest housing estate among BEA projects.\nIn the previous research, the actual living conditions at Bang Chalong housing estate was investigated.\nResidents are nuclear families, couple and single person. Residents have various opportunities to join\ncommunity events and activities. Residents’satisfaction toward housing estate is relatively high. The reasons\nare, convenience for commuting, existence of parking space, existence of spacious green area and open space.\nThe purpose of this study is to reveal the actual usage behavior at the common space at Bang Chalong\nhousing estate. The resident’s activities are classified into five categories such as “talk, rest and daily\nactivities”,“play and leisure activities”,“trade activities”,“housekeeping”and “maintenance and management\nof common space”. There are 904 activities and 1,543 activities are counted in a weekday and in a holiday,\nrespectively. The most frequently observed activity is “talk, rest, and daily activities”and this is seen at the\nspace between flats. “Trade activities”is also seen along the road both in a weekday and a holiday. “Play\nand leisure activities”is seen 6 times more frequently in a holiday than that in a weekday.\nSpace between flats is used by talking,relaxing,trading and playing and used different way in a weekday\nand a holiday. Existing various open space is flexibly used and deal with residens’variety of activities.
