| 内容記述 | In 2021-22, we conducted a large-scale survey of elementary, junior high, and high school students to determine their Internet use and perceived health risks. This large-scale survey received 27,632 valid responses. Based on the aggregate results, this paper attempts to clarify what kind of health risks youths are exposed to due to unhealthy Internet use in Japan. Health hazards include Internet addiction. Prolonged use of the Internet risks causing Internet addiction, and this was observed in all grades, from elementary to high school. Online-game disorder was said to be more common among boys, but in our study, a higher percentage of girls were found to be using the games in a dangerous manner. | |||||||
